Philip
Gerson writes for theatre, television
and film.
Philip's award-winning theatre work includes productions at the Colony Theatre in LA and the NY International Fringe Festival, as well as workshops and staged readings at the Cleveland Playhouse, Amphibian Productions (Ft. Worth), the Berkshire Playwrights Lab, the Telluride Playwrights Festival, the Road Theatre, and Gayfest NYC.
Among the many television shows Philip has written for are two
of the most successful series in TV history -- "MURDER, SHE
WROTE" (for
which he was Story Editor) and "DR. QUINN, MEDICINE WOMAN" (for
which he was Co-Executive Producer). The
recipient of several awards for his TV work, Philip's original pilot, "R & D",
was selected to be published by the Writer Guild of America's "Written
By" magazine as one of the six Best Unproduced Sci-Fi
scripts.
Philip divides his time between New York and Los Angeles.
